BlueGO is a service of the South Tahoe Area Transit Authority. BlueGO provides fixed route,
demand response, ski shuttles, seasonal trolley service and commuter express routes on the
south shore of Lake Tahoe and to the Carson Valley. Follow the links on the left for more details.
BlueGO OnCall Service

BlueGO provides demand responsive service within the city limits of South Lake Tahoe, to and from
Christmas Valley and the Upper Truckee River neighborhoods, Meyers and other portions of El Dorado
County 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of these vehicles are wheelchair accessible, and equipped
with bicycle racks.
Reservations can be made 60 minutes in advance up to 7 days in advance for general fare users, and 24
hours in advance for special needs clients.
BlueGO offers ADA Paratransit service within 3/4 mile of a non-commuter fixed route. In addition, the Routes
23, 52, 53, 54 and 55 deviate up to 3/4 mile off route. In order to use BlueGO ADA Paratransit service, you
must fill out our ADA application and have a disability that prevents you from boarding a fixed route bus or
accessing a fixed route bus stop in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). BlueGO ADA
Paratransit is available generally between 5:45 AM and 1:13 AM, seven days a week.
DOOR TO DOOR DEMAND RESPONSE SERVICE
Effective, Sunday July 18th, Routes 22 and 40 will no longer be offered. Persons affected by the service change can use
the demand response service of BlueGO OnCall and the new BlueGo OnCall Transfer service.
Get picked up at your door, pay $4 ($2 for seniors/special needs) and get a free transfer to board any local fixed route
at the nearest of five Transfer Points:
- “Y” Transit Center
- Lake Tahoe Community College
- South Lake Tahoe Visitor Center
- Stateline Transit Center
- Kingsbury Transit Center
For your return trip, pay $4.00 ($2 for seniors/special needs) on any local fixed route and you will receive a free
transfer to ride the OnCall bus to your destination.

- Ask for a “Free Ride On Us” Coupon from the Driver.
- Turn in the Coupon to the LTCC Bookstore or Library to receive a “Free Ride On Us” Pass. BlueGO Flex and fixed route bus service is available from 6:00 am to 12:45 am seven days a week.
- BlueGO OnCall is available 24 hours per day with a 60 minute advance reservation by calling (530) 541-7149.
